A few months ago we held our first May event. The Arts Festival was well attended! Folks visited local artists in their studios, enjoyed live music and purchased work from artisans at the Mercado. Andrew Furse and Shawn Demarest coordinated the festival and have agreed to coordinate a similar 2023 event. (Yay!) AND Rachel Briggs has agreed to work her magic and create our ads/posters. You may have seen her ads in local newspapers.
El Rito Studio Tour and Mercado applications will appear on our website in March 2023.
Our traditional October Studio Tour won’t happen this year (2022). It may happen in 2023 if a coordinator steps up to make it happen! This needs to be decided by the end of the year so we can apply for grant support.
