The El Rito Arts Festival is now in its 37th year, kicking off with the
Community Artist Mercado featuring art, food, music, and activities!
Mercado DETAILS
Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th
10:00 am - 5:00 pm
LOCATION
The Mercado will take place in El Pueblito at Northern New Mexico College (located behind Grant Gym).
Activities
Northern New Mexico College Heritage Arts Program - Student Work Sale
Spanish Colonial Woodworking, Rio Grande Weaving, Traditional Spanish Retablo Painting
10:00 am ~ 2:00 pm: Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Art to G.O. - A Mobile Creative Studio (Saturday Only)
10:00 am - 2:00 pm: Art Play (Sunday only)
2:00 pm ~ 3:00 pm: ERAA’s Open Ceramic Studio - Janeen Singer will share about weekly pottery night and offer a pinch pot group activity for any age/experience level.
