Marcia Kaminski

Marcia Kaminski grew up with a passion for art, animals and the Southwest. She studied Fine Art at The University of Kansas and Monticello College. Having lived most of her life in New Mexico and Arizona, Marcia’s art often reflects the diverse cultures and lifestyles of these areas. She has raised Arabian Horses and Great Dane dogs over many years, along with miniature donkeys and a few rescue horses along the way - with most of them serving as models for her artwork at one time or another. Her studio is presently in El Rito, New Mexico but she previously lived in Pojoaque, NM and participated yearly in the Pojoaque River Art Tour. She has had her work shown in Santa Fe at New Concept Gallery, as well as Fuller Lodge Gallery in Los Alamos, and has had original ponies commissioned by The Trail of Painted Ponies and Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo among others.
