Among John Henry Diehl’s diverse forms and outlets of artistic expression are his distinctive sculptural pieces and his work as a longtime character actor in film and theater. Dirt, concrete, wood, stone, plaster, and old sheet metal are some of the resource materials from which he works. He lives in the Jemez Valley but is a good friend of El Rito artist Lucia Vinograd, at whose home he will be exhibiting work on this year’s tour.
